A Malayalam Comedy about togetherness and brotherhood, portraying the importance to a group of people whom we refer to as 'Bengali Babus' in our social life. Babumon (Kunchacko Boban) and Bengali Babu (Biju Menon) have a peculiar relation which dates back to the day the elder one among the two, came to Kerala. The film revolves around a journey to Bengal carrying the mortal remains of a laborer.

Parmanand lives a poor lifestyle in a village along with his widowed step-mother, Maya, and her two children, a son, Murli, who is studying in a Bombay college, and daughter, Kamla. Parmanand is in love with beautiful Bindu and hopes to marry her someday. When Murli returns home after obtaining a degree in Arts, Parmanand notices that he loves Bindu, so he steps aside and permits him to marry her much to Maya's displeasure. Shortly after the marriage, Parmanand finds out that Murli has been spending a lot of time with Chandra, the daughter of Hariram Prasad. When he counsels Murli, he gets abused, and beats Murli up. Upset at this treatment, Murli and Bindu move out. Shortly thereafter Bindu gets pregnant much to Chandra's displeasure. Chandra confronts Bindu in a bid to make her hate her child and force her to abort while Murli files a claim in Court contesting his late father's Will as a forgery. An art instructor (Hans Schlenck) is so enthralled when he sees a student (Manja Behrens) in a bathing suit that he, for his own artistic gratification, paints her as a nude gazing at the sea. His pupils see the painting and enter it in an art exhibit.

The Story focuses on how misunderstandings destiny contrives to get Ram and Priya married and after the marriage Ram and Priya slowly start developing feelings for each other. Both go for a honeymoon to Australia. Finally they both fall in love with each other, They spend moments with each other facing with excitements, happiness and daily life problem. Slowly love blossoms between the two and they consume their marriage. Life moves ahead and both of them cannot live without each other but destiny creates problems between the two and both are separated. Story moves ahead and the show takes a 5 years leap. Ram is in Mumbai and Priya has moved to Dubai and has a daughter Peehu. And Everyone feels that Priya is died. But Priya somehow reaches Mumbai and Ram is shocked to see her lady love alive and asks for custody of her daughter as she has kept unknown for 5 years with Ram.
